Sunset over the Columbia River - central Washington

I grew up in the country surrounded by alfalfa fields, finding tadpoles in the ditch banks, listening to the coyotes sing. Later we moved to the hills above the valley. Walking on the hills, I discovered moss, cacti, sagebrush, and horny toads. Influenced by monotones, greens, browns, stark contrasts of blue sky and dancing clouds. Nature has always been a guiding force.

I was 13 when I picked up a camera in earnest. I have been searching and discovering what is before me ever since.

My journey has lead me to moments of light and places of inspiration. I have been moved to show the same care and attention to the process and the materials that make up each finished piece.

Photography in tune with nature: art and craft with space in mind.
